Personal Financial Literacy: The New Social Studies Course for Texas

June 15–17, 2016 Bedford, TX

This new course on Personal Financial Literacy joins the social studies curriculum across Texas. The course has been approved by the state and is offered in every high school in as of fall 2016. This Dallas Fed workshop is based on a scope and sequence for the course, uses free Federal Reserve resources tied to the standards and covers all TEKS for the course. Participants reviewed course content and experience lesson demonstrations.
