Discover the newest classroom resource from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Navigate: Exploring College and Careers. Many students and their families may be unfamiliar with the pathways to education after high school. Navigate informs students of the importance of continuing their education and the many available options and helps them navigate the complex web of processes and requirements.
The program included a consumable student workbook and a teacher’s manual with detailed classroom procedures, all free of charge. Navigate also addresses Texas House Bill 5 and the endorsements that eighth graders must select before entering the ninth grade. It provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their own interests and skills, explore and research careers and become aware of the educational requirements. The goal is for students to be better prepared to make sound decisions regarding their future.
